School Uniform Policy

Our aim in creating a School Uniform has been to involve all the stakeholders. The first Governing Body of the School made the initial process to put a uniform in place. From that point we wanted to involve parents by holding a competition for the badge and motto of the School. I'm very proud to say that the committee for creating a badge that symbolizes the School came into existence. The committee that included members of the Governing Body, Parent representatives from every class and a School Uniform expert chose a design that represents the old and the new meeting together, adopting the charterist bridge and all that it symbolizes and of course our motto created by the parents...

O fesen fach i'r gangen uchaf

From the smallest acorn to the highest branch

The intention now is to meet in September in order to create a list of values that represent our School that will confirm the importance of the motto to every stakeholder.

School Uniform:

Grey Trousers, shorts, skirt or Pinafores.

Gold/Yellow Polo Shirt

Green Sweatshirt

Green Cardigan

Green Summer dress for the girls

We would prefer black shoes/trainers but realize how expensive shoes can become. Due to Health and Safety reasons we do not allow open toed sandals but are happy with any other type of sandal.

PE Kit - Gold round neck/Green Shorts from Lamberts or Dark Shorts with Yellow or White round neck collar. The kit from Lamberts is optional! Following WAG guidelines, no jewellery should be worn due to the Health and Safety requirements whilst using equipment. This also includes ear rings.

Optional Uniform:

PE Kit from Lamberts
Reversible coat from Lamberts with badge
Home work bags and Kit bags are also available from Lamberts.

This is a uniform designed by all the stakeholders of the school and we appreciate the efforts of every Governor and Parent in helping with the design.

We understand that there will be a transition period before the uniform is fully established.
